In accordance with the proposed changes to the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 (VIC) a rental property requires smoke alarms to be tested annually. Smoke alarms should be installed in all houses, units, flats and townhouses and must be hard-wired. A fully trained employee from JAMA will conduct your smoke alarm compliance testing and provide you with a written report along with images.
All smoke alarms installed by JAMA are installed in accordance with the Victorian Building Regulations 2006, S.R No.68/2006, Australian Standards 3786 & Section 3.7.2.2 of the Building Code of Australia
